General and Vascular Surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is internationally recognised. • Charles Pannett Ward: at St Mary’s Hospital and is a 24 bedded Acute Surgical Ward. It specialises in providing high quality care to patients undergoing general and specialist emergency surgery. • Surgical Innovation Centre:based at St Mary’s Hospital,this clinical area will see you gaining skills on a short-stay surgical ward (17 beds), a surgical assessment unit and post-surgical bariatric area. • A8:ward, based at Hammersmith Hospital is a 26 bedded acute surgical ward that specialises in upper gastrointestinal (OG), hepatobiliary and endocrine surgery. • Zachary Cope:a 24 bedded acute vascular surgical ward manages both simple and complex vascular cases. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified nurses. Due to the strong support networks in place and the comprehensive nature of the development programme, this opportunity is suited to both nurses at the beginning of their career journey and for those looking for development within the specialty.
